Laura Davis, a Partner with SKLaw, has been practicing law since 2001. Ms. Davis’s practice includes serving as general counsel and bond counsel to political subdivisions and Tax Increment Reinvestment Zones, and general counsel to special districts, including in-city and ETJ management districts, and small cities located throughout Texas. Ms. Davis also represents developers in all phases of development, working with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and other local entities. She has extensive election law experience, providing counsel to clients on state and federal election laws procedures.

Ms. Davis is a native Houstonian. She received a B.A., cum laude, in Spanish from The University of Texas, Austin (1995) and a J.D., magna cum laude, from Texas Tech University (2001). She was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2001 and is a member of the State Bar of Texas.

Ms. Davis is fluent in Spanish.
