Audrey Lyons is a legal assistant working in SKLaw’s public law and special district practice areas. She is a specialist in municipal utility district, management district, and tax increment reinvestment zone representation, assisting attorneys in district operations, transactions, and bond related matters. She provides, among other services, assistance with meeting calling and recordation, document preparation and administration, and government filings. She has extensive experience in compliance matters relating to the Texas Open Meetings Act, Public Information Act, public official ethics, and records retention. Her work also extends to the calling and conduct of public elections.
With a solid foundation in her legal studies, hands-on experience, and passion for the public law practice, Ms. Lyons brings a commitment to accuracy, clarity, and efficiency in every aspect of her work. She received her B.S. from Sam Houston State University and earned her Paralegal Certification from the University of Houston.
Ms. Lyons was born in Amarillo, Texas, and moved to Houston in the fifth grade, where she has lived ever since. Prior to joining SKLaw, she took a short break from her career to be a stay-at-home mom to two children; she recently welcomed a third.
