Maria Salinas Parker is a Partner with SKLaw and has been practicing law since 1991. She serves as general counsel and bond counsel for municipal utility districts and non-profit water supply corporations. Ms. Parker represents municipal utility districts in various phases of development, including creation, development and post-development. Her practice involves contract development and negotiations, tax-exempt financing, and governmental and regulatory compliance.

Ms. Parker graduated cum laude from the University of St. Thomas and received her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center. Ms. Parker was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1991 and is a member of the State Bar of Texas, American Bar Association and the Houston Bar Association.

Ms. Parker is a native Houstonian who is proud to be a part of the continuing development success in Houston and surrounding areas.
