Deidra Daniels is a Certified Paralegal working in SKLaw’s public law and special district practice areas. She is a specialist in water district representation, assisting attorneys in district operating, construction, election, and bond related matters. She has been extensively involved in all legal and administrative issues facing water districts.  Among the many district services she provides are meeting participation, minute preparation, legal document administration and preparation, and government filings. Ms. Daniels is also experienced in the conduct of public elections, compliance matters relating to the Texas Open Meetings Act, the Open Records Act, public official ethics, and records retention requirements.

Prior to joining SKLaw, Ms. Daniels worked as a Certified Paralegal, legal secretary, and office manager for the firm of Schweinle & Associates (formerly Schweinle, Parish & Lowerre, P.C.), where she gained extensive experience in commercial, business, and water district litigation.

Ms. Daniels was born in Nacogdoches, Texas. She received her A.A.S. degree in Legal Assistant Technology from Trinity Valley Community College, where she was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. As an Advanced Certified Paralegal, Ms. Daniels is committed to life-long learning and maintains a high level of continuing legal education.
